Amazon Kindle - FAILED !

Ebook

Dear Mr Bezos,

Please tell me why you charge close to a 100% premium on the Kindle version of a book?

As far as I am aware, you won't have to deliver the book to me, no trees will have to be cut, no ink will be used. Your cost to replicate a digital book is close to zero, so why on hell are you charging more for the Kindle version than you are for the paper based version of the same book.

Not cool !

Trust your guts

43508
In one study, two groups of people were asked to pick out a poster to take home. One group was asked to analyze their decision carefully, weighing the pros and cons, and the other group was told to listen to their gut. Two weeks later, the group that followed their gut was happier with their posters than the group that analyzed their decisions. Now, some of our decisions are more crucial than picking out posters, but by the time you're poring over your choice, the options you're weighing are probably very similar, and the difference will only temporarily affect your happiness. So next time you have a decision to make, and you're down to two or three options, just pick the one that feels right, and go with it. Never regret the decisions you make though. Just live by the 3 C's of life: choices chances, and changes. You need to make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.

Sparks matches you to a non-profit that shares your values. Visit Sparks and share your interests and talents. Want to help non-profits dedicated to civil rights and the advancement of science? No problem. Select the interests you have and then share your talents (like copy editing, web design, human resource skills, and more). HUAWEI E156G Drivers for 3G modem (Mac Os Snow leopard)

Huawei_e156g

Hi,

I am posting the drivers for the HUAWEI E156G for Mac OS. It took me well over an hour to find them. The company does not seem to care about their customers and no where could the drivers be found on their website.

I hope this will help who ever stumbled upon this post.

Just download and install the application and clicks connect.  The standard profile, even though is for some Italian network does work in Switzerland. I’d imagine it would work on any carrier.

You're welcome ;)

All the Same

Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes made of ticky tacky
Little boxes on the hillside, little boxes all the same

There’s a green one and a pink one and a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same.

And the people in the houses all went to the university
Where they were put in boxes and they came out all the same,

And there’s doctors and there’s lawyers, and business executives
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same.

And they all play on the golf course and drink their martinis dry,
And they all have pretty children and the children go to school

And the children go to summer camp and then to the university
Where they are put in boxes and they come out all the same.

And the boys go into business and marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky tacky and they all look just the same.
